If there was ever a time to stand in your power, this is it.
Your power radiates from the divine spark within you. It flows when you take risks in expressing yourself beyond your emotional comfort zone. You tap into your power as you radically accept yourself and trust your feelings. As you do that you’ll start unleashing the superpowers within your soul.
If enough of us stood in our power at the same time we would create a critical mass of consciousness that would positively transform our planet. Yes, even in the face of all the severe crises facing humanity now. That’s the power we have as healers and Lightworkers.
One of the biggest blocks to standing in your power is the deep feeling that it’s not safe to do so. So many powerful, advanced souls feel inhibited and stuck when it comes to fully being themselves and sharing their deepest gifts. Could you be one of them? This post is about how to recognize and free yourself from that paradigm.
As an instructor, workshop leader and healer for over 30 years I’ve worked with many hundreds of holistic health practitioners, physicians and healers. I’ve noticed how many of them struggle with deep fears of being seen, coming out or being as successful as they could be. Many have fallen into forms of self-sabotage, creating fatigue, depression, low income or broken relationships.
After taking hundreds of clients through deep Quantum healings I believe that much of those symptoms originate from what I would call the persecution wound. As you read the following description check to see how much of this you may relate to.
You are a very powerful soul. You’ve lived many lifetimes. In some of your lifetimes, and perhaps in this one, you have stood in your power. You may have had an open heart and easy access to your higher seeing, feeling and knowing. You might have been a master healer, a caretaker of the Earth, a Priestess or alchemist of the light. You may have been part of groups of advanced, open people, perhaps working with illuminated Masters. You were excited about awakening yourself and others, working together to make the world a better place.
And then unspeakable horrors happened. So much pain, loss and sorrow. Many of us were persecuted, killed, burned, tortured or cast out. We couldn’t protect ourselves and each other from the onslaughts. These experiences created deep imprints on the souls of Lightworkers which still inhibit them today. After going through these experiences, perhaps multiple times, most of us didn’t feel safe standing in our power anymore. We shut down our most loving, powerful, deeply feeling parts and retreated into our “muggle” minds. Many developed self-perpetuating core wounds manifesting as invisible barriers to our joyful self-expression.
These unbearable traumas often made parts of our soul split off. When that happens, you live your life as a partial being, unable to fully access some of the most loving and beautiful parts of yourself.
Fast forward to our time. It’s now safe in most places to openly be a healer, nature lover or esoteric spiritual practitioner. In fact, many Lightworkers are now licensed practitioners or teachers in fields such as acupuncture, bodywork or chiropractic. Most of the carefully guarded esoteric teachings of the past can be found on YouTube!
Yet core feelings of unsafety often remain in our gut. Many of us, myself included, have experimented with countless forms of energy healing, spirituality or therapy to release our inhibitions and energy blockages. Many of these have helped in various ways but rarely fully released our core wounding.
Based on my own experience and that of many of my clients I’m thrilled to tell you that your core issues – including the persecution wound – can be healed. This profound transformation requires different methods than used in most holistic healing systems. The most effective systems I’m now working with are Quantum catalyst healing and Shamanic energy medicine.
The number one requirement for healing your core wounding is to become convinced you are safe in coming out and sharing your greatest gifts with others. How can you stand in your power and be safe?
Here are some valuable insights into answering that vital question:
1. There’s power in numbers. There’s an old spiritual story of the father who gathers his children together and picks up a pile of thin sticks. He shows how a single stick can easily be broken, but when many are bunched together they’re very difficult to break. In the same way we are way safer when part of conscious spiritual community. Of course, it’s vital to join a community of high-integrity people you resonate with.
2. Clear your conditioning. The biggest factor perpetuating old fear-based, self-sabotaging patterns are negative imprints in your Radiant Energy Field - the field of conscious energy that is the real “you”. Most people’s energy field contains lots of dark areas blocking aspects of their love, light and power. Advanced healing methods can permanently clear that old conditioning through the chakra system. As you remove negative imprints and allow more of the light of your being to stream through everything in your life improves.
3. Watch your sorcery. Each of us is a powerful creator being. You were a creator long before coming into a human body, and you are still the source of your own reality. Make sure you practice positive “source-ery.” That means visioning and thinking about what you WANT to experience and create, not what you don’t want. So many people continue to practice negative source-ery, frequently dwelling on what they DON”T want. This keeps them in a self-replicating box of their own making, like the story from the movie Groundhogs Day.
4. Unify yourself. As mentioned above, many Lightworkers have had precious parts of their souls split off because of trauma, going into the underworld. When this happens you feel incomplete, as if a vital part of you is missing. It is possible to recover and integrate those parts through shamanic soul retrieval work. The results can be beautiful and life changing.
5. Take full responsibility. As Spider Man so aptly said “with great power comes great responsibility.” Powerful people need to take honest inventory of themselves.
As I’ve done that (reluctantly at first) I had to admit I was practicing selective self-responsibility. I’ve been honest, sincere and courageous in many ways, yet have allowed myself to creep out of integrity in others. For example, I live with my partner Karina in a spiritually oriented relationship. I mostly fit the description of the “spiritual guy,” yet when I’m honest with myself I can identify ways I still carry a sense of entitlement as a white male. Karina has been generous in pointing those out! She’s shown me how I sometimes try to control or judge her (and myself). So, standing in my power means fessing up and making amends for my ego-based patterns. And lots of other things!
6. Embrace your higher purpose. Your soul is calling to you to step up to a new level of being and serving. Go out of your way to discover your new, higher purpose – your “marching orders” from your Divine self. Your greatest power lies in your heartfelt YES to these.
7. Give back. The greatest way to heal yourself is to help others to heal. That’s why so many Lightworkers go into medical, healing or therapeutic professions. As I’ve learned to move from “skilled practitioner” into Quantum master healer my own self-healing has accelerated. A great side effect!
As mentioned above one of our greatest assets is being part of conscious community. When you find the tribe you resonate with you’ll feel safer, more inspired, more able to share your higher abilities and have more fun. I offer community meditations on Zoom as well as group programs for professionals you can learn about on my website www.drstarwynn.com
